Overview

At Pilgrim, we believe that any product is only as good as the ingredients it is composed of. We also follow the Pilgrim Code and do not use Toxic 20 chemicals which are harmful to skin and hair. After a lot of research, we have selected our ingredients and blended them carefully together to optimize the benefits and maximize their efficiency.

Argan Oil

Argan oil (아르간 오일), known as Nature's Liquid Gold is a plant oil extracted from kernels of the Argan tree (Argania Spinosa). It is rich in vitamin E, fatty acids, squalene, and antioxidants which makes it an ideal ingredient in hair care regime.

Camellia

Camellia (동백) of the family Theaceae is a rich source of antioxidants, vitamins A, B & E, phytosqualene, Omega-3, 6 & 9, fatty acids and Plant Collagen. Cocoa Butter

Cocoa Butter (코코아 버터), is an edible fat which is extracted from the beans of the cocoa tree. Being rich in Phytochemicals, fatty acids, antioxidants and Vitamin E make it a perfect ingredient for skincare and nourishment

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid (히알루 론산) is a carbohydrate which occurs naturally in our bodies and plays an important role in our skin's overall health. However, research shows that increasing age, pollution and other environmental conditions lead to a drop in the natural production of hyaluronic acid and hence there's a need to supplement it.

Volcanic Lava Ash (화산 용암 재), formed during volcanic eruptions is known to be a natural skin purifier. Its fine and highly porous particles, make it one of the best skin purifying and cleaning agent. Being rich in sulfur, it acts as an overall disinfectant, including bacterial, viral and yeast.

Yugdugu

Yugdugu (육두구), aka nutmeg, is a seed of the genus Myristica. Being a rich source of copper, manganese, magnesium, Vitamin B1 & Vitamin B6, it is highly recommended as a key ingredient in skincare regime

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is derived from the plant Aloe barbadensis miller which belongs to the Liliaceae family. This highly versatile ingredient is rich in vitamins like Vit A,C, E and B12 that act as powerful antioxidants. They essentially scavenge free radicals and are anti ageing in nature. Rosehip oil is derived by cold pressing the seeds of the Wild Rose plant from Chile- Rosa affinis rubiginosa. It is a plant emollient which helps increase fatty acid components for a healthy skin barrier. Linoleic acid in it helps to reduce early acne.

Mulberry

Mulberry (Morus alba) contains a naturally occurring molecule called Arbutin.

Red Vine Extract

Red Vine extract is obtained from the leaves of of the plant Vitis vinifera, which is one of the most extensively used ingredient for its medicinal, therapeutic and cosmetic properties since ancient times. Red Vine extracts are rich in Anthocynides (support microcirculation), Tannins (astingent and skin protective), Antioxidants (anti ageing), Vitamin C ( immunity and skin brightening), Carotenoids, Proteins and Mineral salts.

Vitamin A (Retinol)
